Table Merge Cells in Markdown

There is no syntax for merging cells in Markdown, but Markdown is compatible with HTML, and cell merging can be achieved through HTML.

The sample code and effect are as follows:

< table >
    < tr >
        < th > attribute </ th >
        < th > attribute value </ th >
        < th > description </ th >
    </ tr >
    < tr >
        < td rowspan = "3" > type </ td >
        < td > text </ td >
< td > single line text input box </td>
    </ tr >
    < tr >
        < td > password </ td >
        < td > password input box </ td >
    </ tr >
    < tr >
        < td > radio </ td >
        < td > radio button </ td >
    </ tr >
    < tr >
        < td > name </ td >
        <td > user defined</ td >
        < td > Control Name </ td >
    </ tr >
    < tr >
        < td > value </ td >
        < td > User Defined </ td >
        < td > Default Text Value </ td >
    </ tr >
</ table >

Note: It should be noted that the value of rowspan needs to be modified according to the number of rows.
< td rowspan = "3" > type </ td >
